Conceptualization of Covid-19 in New Life Post Covid-19 Pandemic: A Semantic Cognitive Appoach

At the time of writing, government Republic Indonesia releases warning danger new variant Covid-19, Omicron XBB. Long after people get used to live on “the life pandemic”, we might perceive that Covid-19 has no longer considered as threatening it before. Looking at how their normal, this study aims describe conceptualization newest variation, XBB, in online mass media. This is conducted using a qualitative descriptive method depict media conceptualize variation XBB today. The data were gained from news headline Indonesia, ranging October mid Desember 2022, and analysed framework Conceptual Metaphor Theory (CMT). results show conceptualized war but later more depicted mobile thing/human.
